For Kids… By Kids® Studio to be Built in Albuquerque Area
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – August 24, 2011 – AM 1240 JENNiRADIO, Albuquerque and Rio Rancho’s #1 Family Hits radio station, has developed a fundraising project that allows members of the community to be a part of something unique. The For Kids… By Kids® Studio will not only be home to the station’s production facilities, but will also help put local kids on the air.
“In addition to the generous support of individuals in the local community, we are looking for local businesses who see the value in this project. They know communication skills are important. Kids from 7 to 18 will be able to come into our studio, attend a workshop about radio, and be a DJ for a day,” Jennifer says. “It’s fun for them, but they can also learn about the power of their own voice. This studio will give us a place to share our experience. We love being part of this community, and giving kids new opportunities.”

Local businesses will also be participating in the fundraiser – look for posters on display in retail windows.
About KALY AM 1240 – Through her foundation, Jennifer purchased the former Radio Disney station, and has been airing the JENNiRADIO format 24/7 since December 18th 2010. JENNiRADIO features age-appropriate music and entertainment content, including web and DVD reviews, as well as Jennifer’s celebrity interviews. The station also focuses on positive messages about giving back. Although run as a commercial radio station, all proceeds go to local and national charities.

hello jen I just want to say that me and my family been a disney fan a long time and me and my god daughter most definitely are big fans of disney and are # 1 show is shake it up because i feel and see the love on the show and what the kids have to offer and thats love that shake it up shows there fans from around the world and I thank them for that and i’m still trying to get shake it up to do a special episode no family cant afford to miss…about bullies we need to get this message out across the country, if anyone can do this shake it up can….. I email disney studio already awhile back about this…because so many innocent kids & teens are being bully on and that can cause them to commit suicide.. they can call the episode….. (stop bullying it up)..may god bless disney family and staff and shake it up family..I love you all..have a beautiful day
